Last Sunday, December 28, Tyson Brett Crandall was blessed in our church by his daddy. It was a wonderful day and we loved having my dad here to assist Brett in the circle. We love our little man so much and feel very privileged to be his family! I was overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude for the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ and specifically the Priesthood. I'm blessed and grateful to have a husband that holds the Priesthood worthily and with it, blesses our family.

Brett took Tyson up in the Priesthood circle and was joined by Grandpa Kelly and our friends Mitch Barlow, Nathan Skidmore, Bill Karren, Louis Wilhelmson, and Will Watkins.
He gave Tyson a beautiful and inspired blessing. I jotted down some notes afterwards to remember. Brett blessed Tyson to know that he is a child of God and that he was sent to a family that loves him.
He will live a long and healthy life.
He was directed that along with studying to gain a testimony of the Gospel, that he needed to study hard to gain an education that would bless him and his family and that he would learn quickly.
He blessed him to be an example to those around him, especially his family.
He blessed him that he would be a missionary always, and not only while he will serve a full-time mission.
He blessed him to enter the temple and be sealed there to his wife.
These are all things that I want for our son. I know that if we raise him according to the Spirit and that if he is faithful, all these blessings will come to pass. We are so blessed to have the guidance of Heavenly Father in our lives. Its cliche, but I can't imagine life without Tyson, now that he's here and part of our family. He is a happy, handsome baby and gets cuter and sweeter every day!
